Your Diet Can Help Your Spiritual Awakening - Here’s How

Your diet is one major way you can harmonize the systems in your body to function optimally while increasing your energetic vibration to gain access to your spirituality.

Everything in the Universe has a unique energy that vibrates at a particular frequency, including food. When you choose your diet based on the energy of the foods you’re putting into your body, you have the ability to increase your energy’s vibe.

Don’t think that just because you live on goji berries and raw, organic honey you’ll become enlightened, but eating a plant-based diet high in nutrients has scientifically proven effects on our mechanism of perception, the third-eye chakra, which is also the pineal gland. We need to eat a pure diet in order to hold onto the wisdom and power of our all-seeing eye. Today, we’re going to show you how!

Dietary Tips for Spiritual Awakening

  • The Pineal Gland & The Pituitary Gland

The pineal gland works in conjunction with the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland instructs the other glands to secrete hormones that produce certain emotional reactions. This is why we are emotionally compelled to detest certain things and love certain things. The pituitary gland is the ship’s captain for our actions. If the pineal gland is calcified with nanocrystals because of our diet, it won’t communicate to the pituitary gland, effectively cutting off our spiritual connection and leaving us to fend for ourselves, learning only from our external environment rather than looking internally.

  • Decrease Fluoride

Fluoride is in your diet impedes your ability to open the gateway to the soul (also known as the pineal gland). You’ll want to switch to fluoride-free toothpaste and fluoride-free water when possible. Additionally, to break up the nanocrystals around the pineal gland, you can use low doses of oregano oil and add lemon in your water.

  • Alkalize Your Body

Eating alkalizing plants such as greens, fruits, nuts, beans, and other vegetables will help raise your energetic frequency. Acidic foods like sugar, coffee, alcohol, fried foods, pasta, desserts, and meat will all make it harder to connect spiritually because they slow digestion, increase inflammation, and reduce the energy available to your upper chakras.

  • Healthy Fats

The healthy fats in plants are essential to a spiritually-motivated diet. Avocado, plant-based oils, and nut-based oils are great sources of fat. Coconut, hemp seeds, and pumpkin seeds all contain healthy fats. Your brain needs healthy fat to compute and have energy, and don’t get enough healthy fat, you’ll find yourself fatigued ad foggy. While many people think that all of their energy comes from protein, they often don’t know they actually need more healthy fat.

  • Protein

Protein is essential, and there are non-toxic forms of protein found in plants. All plants have some protein, believe it or not! Rice is 4% protein and quinoa is 14%. The highest level of protein is actually found in spinach! You can also get protein from green peas, beans, nuts, tofu, and mushrooms. It’s important to cut out unhealthy processed foods and foods that have a long ingredient list with strange items you can’t pronounce. Those items strain your filter organs so that they have a harder time removing hormones from your body, which can throw off your emotional balance and lower your frequency. Are you starting to see how this is all connected?

  • Can I Eat Animal Products?

You can eat animal products, but know that as you raise your frequency you often become more sensitive and respond in a stronger way to toxins. If you are going to eat meat and dairy, try to find organic options so you’re not consuming steroids, antibiotics, and harmful drugs that the factory or farm animals are raised on. Meat requires a lot of energy for the body to process it, and can make it more difficult to meditate. Eating a plant-based diet has been reported to make meditation much easier. Dairy creates a lot of mucus in the body, so if you’re going to eat it, try to limit your intake.

As we seek to develop ourselves spiritually, we often try to do less harm and look at how all of our actions affect others. If we do choose to eat meat and dairy, think of your energetic connection to the animals how the choices you make impact the planet. When we start to feel the energy of the planet, we will want to reduce suffering and make sustainable choices. There are ethical ways to eat animal products, so do your research, make the changes, and you’ll see a significant difference.

Concluding Thoughts…

In order to access the upper chakras, the place where your connection to spirituality stems from, you need the systems of the body to be functioning harmoniously. When you feel good, your energetic frequency increases and activates those upper chakras. As you improve your diet, all 7 chakras start to function and flow better, leaving you mentlally and emotionally open to your spiritual centre.

When it comes to changing your diet, don’t change things drastically right away because it can shock your system. Introduce changes gradually. You’ll find that the natural flavour of foods will start to come out when you detoxify your body of the preservatives and additives from processed foods. You’ll find, with time, that you feel a connection to the foods you put into your body, and thus a connection to the world, and perhaps the Universe, as a whole.
