Feed Your Body Friday: Rosé All Day! 3 Rosé Summer Cocktails
The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the summer is fast approaching, and our cravings for those fruity summery cocktails are growing.
Rosé wine is a nice halfway point between red and white wines; it’s more refreshing than white wine because of its moderate sugar content and obviously a lot less heavy than red wine. Fresh and sweet, rosé drinks are ideal at this time of year for any occasion. Rosé is also a very versatile base for a wide variety of cocktail recipes because it plays so nicely with other fruits and flavours.
There’s a lot of room to experiment with rosé, so today we have not one, not two, but three rosé cocktail recipes for you to try out. We always encourage you to use your imagination in the kitchen, so feel free to substitute different fruits in and out of the recipes here. All but one of these drinks are ready in under 10 minutes, so go ahead and treat yourself to one (or a few) in the comfort of your own home, or increase the ingredient amounts and mix up a few pitchers to pour during your next backyard barbecue or picnic.
And, if you are feeling guilty about drinking wine, not to worry - having a glass of wine may actually be good for your health. You can find all the information about it in this article: 8 Reasons to Pour Yourself a Glass of Wine After a Long Day.
