It’s Turmeric Time!

Drumrolls, please! It’s time to try some turmeric coffee recipes. Beware, you’re about to fall in love this Turmeric Coffee!

Is Turmeric Coffee Healthy?

It’s time to spice up your coffee. Let’s start with the bright yellow spice aka turmeric that is usually tucked at the very end of your spice tray in the kitchen.

Turmeric has some amazing antioxidant properties that will surprise you. One of its major health benefits includes anti-inflammatory properties. Its anti-inflammatory effects are compared to NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs). Research has also demonstrated the potential usage of turmeric for a range of issues such as pre-menstrual tension, Alzheimer’s disease, and arthritis.

The fascinating benefits of turmeric don’t just stop there; some studies show that one of the active ingredients in turmeric can improve cognitive performance as well.

The addition of turmeric to your food and beverages isn’t just linked to its health benefits; it makes it stand out among all other types of teas and coffees. The underlying flavor of honey or maple syrup blends with the dark coffee flavor so well that it will make you smack your lips in contentment.

  5. Next, add your milk on top of the espresso by tipping your glass slightly and slowly pouring it into the mug.

Time For Your Coffee Break

We hope that you have fun with these recipes on National Coffee Day and every other day of the year. You don’t need fancy coffees or espresso machines to make these, a tin of pre-ground or instant coffee will do, if that’s what you have on hand.

It’s important to note that the taste of these recipes can also change dramatically depending on the roast type and the amount of coffee you choose. The same recipe can become very different if you increase the dosage of coffee, or if you choose a flavored roast, like vanilla or caramel.

Have fun with it! We can’t wait to see what you brew.
