3 Essential Meals for Your Sacral Chakra
These fresh, delicious, and healthy recipes are intended to balance the Sacral chakra!
The Sacral chakra, called Svadhisthana in Sanskrit, is the second of the seven energy centers present inside your body. It’s located on the stomach.
In kundalini yoga, this chakra is represented by a lotus with six orange petals. Each petal influences the emotions, the relation with others, sharing, pleasures, desires, sexuality, procreation, vitality, the joy of living, self-esteem, and relationship with money.
The foods that balance the Sacral chakra are mostly orange and include:
- Carrots
- Butternut squash
- Mango
- Oranges
- Orange bell peppers
- Fruits like peaches and apricots
- Sweet potatoes
Foods rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, like fish and nuts, also work well to balance this chakra.
