3 Meals to Balance Your Heart Chakra

Today, we are looking at recipes that balance the Heart chakra.

As the Heart chakra color is green, it can be nourished with many green vegetables like kale, spinach, chard, collard, lettuce, and sprouts of all kinds, such as broccoli and brussels sprouts.

The color green symbolizes harmony, freshness, and growth, all of which have been taken into account while preparing today’s recipes. In addition, green is the most common color in nature, and it balances and detoxifies the air.

It does the same for our bodies!

Today we will be making…

  • A Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl
  • Avocado Toast (with variations)
  • Kale Salad with a Tahini Vinaigrette

All of these green foods are detoxifying and neutralizing, meaning that they will feed and heal your Heart chakra while growing your heart connection.

Without further ado, here are the recipes.

3 Meals for Your Heart Chakra

Breakfast: Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl

For breakfast, let’s start with this invigorating green smoothie bowl full of spinach, kale, and kiwi.

While you may shy away from something this green, we are adding elements like banana, mango, and kiwi to bring a touch of sweetness so that you don’t need to add sugar (but if you have a sweet tooth, you can always add 1 tbsp of maple syrup or honey.)

Dinner: Kale Salad with a Tahini Vinaigrette

The last recipe is a kale salad with crispy tofu and a deliciously creamy tahini vinaigrette. Remember to massage your kale before consuming it to give it a softer texture.

Prep time: 25 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Servings: 1-2 people

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 cups of kale
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 block (225gr) of Tofu Firm
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Kale and dressing sitting next to each other.

Preparation

  1. Wash your kale salad, place it in a bowl, and massage it for a few minutes to soften it.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add avocado oil.
  3. Press your tofu for 30 minutes in preparation for cooking.
  4. Once your skillet is hot and your tofu is pressed, add tofu and garlic powder to the skillet.
  5. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the tofu is crisp on the outside.
  6. During that time, make your dressing. Grab a bowl and combine the tahini, lemon juice, and maple syrup together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well to combine everything.
  7. Add the dressing to the kale and toss.
  8. Next, add your crispy tofu to your salad.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

When your Heart chakra is balanced, you will feel full of gratitude and love! You will find yourself loving yourself and others more. You feel calm and will let go of the emotions of resentment and anger.

So go forth, eat well, and spread love.
