Why Purpose is More Important Than Luxury
There are 2 forces at war for our hearts on this planet: one is greed and the other is compassion.
These forces pull on us daily as we make decisions, place value on people in our lives, and craft our personal goals. Greed is so often the driving force behind businesses in our capitalistic era, but this is changing due to the astrological shift into the Age of Aquarius, where we are all being awakened to a more evolved level of consciousness.
We are shifting into a world where compassion is our default state of being and the leaders of our society will continue to speak of these concepts more and more in our lifetime. As we shift into a new economy where ethics matter more than money, companies will be rewarded for their mission and their practices more than their prestige, size, and dollar value.
The Economy of Emotions is Dawning
The quality, sustainability, and the heart and soul of companies are being spotlighted with the Age of Aquarius we are entering into. Humans are becoming more aware and sensitive to the intentions behind certain companies and they are choosing ethical brands over brand names with clout now more than ever before.
With the onset of technology and social media, we are being made aware of how our purchases affect others along the supply chain. We can see the face of the person making our shirts, how they live, and if our choice is helping or hindering their lifestyle and happiness. We are being more aware of our energy on a global scale.
Most spiritual teachers are aware that in our lifetime we will continue to see this shift in demand for products that are ethically derived with sustainable energy and fair policies for workers. The economy is shifting so that people will pay for things that make them happy on a soul level and not on an ego level.
That means the emotions that sustain a feeling of purpose will be paid a higher price for than the emotions that offer temporary satisfaction. It’s written in the stars that this shift will continue and the explosion of yoga studios in our culture is evidence of this shift.
The Soul Craves Purpose
Because we are as a population becoming healthier, the systems of our bodies are harmonizing so we can become more intuitive and empathic. Because the information about how to take care of our minds, bodies, and spirits is free to the public on the Internet, we are evolving at a rapid rate and thus our frequency is shifting so we can access the wisdom we’ve had in our souls all along.
The soul is connected to the great spirit that connects us all, seeking harmony and peace for all beings. We all want to be a part of making this world less painful and happier - it is in our DNA and in our hearts because of our spiritual nature. We will only be satisfied when we align to a life of purpose and will continue to shed the old layers of ego. The shift of our culture means we have to have more fun and less worry, more cooperation and less competition, more love and less fear.
When we decide what is of value in our lives, we are guiding our motivations. If we decide to value public recognition, we will seek luxury and never find sustainable happiness because the soul will feel depleted, ignored and lifeless.
When we decide to value service, loving our fellow humans, and living by the guiding voice of our soul, no matter what we have, we will feel fulfilled because it doesn’t put happiness out of reach but within our hearts at all times. This is a more intelligent and kind way of living that is the new normal thanks to certain people who have stepped forward to share these messages and prophecies as healers and leaders.
The moral narratives of our culture that come from Hollywood through the media will continue to shift to show value is based on integrity and not superficial luxurious lifestyles. As we learn what is going to give us food for our soul, we will feed that desire more and more instead of our more primal desires which will never allow us to experience the true power of our spiritually awakened consciousness.
