How to Make Mummy Pizza

With Halloween just around the corner, what better way to enter this festive season than with some delicious mummy pizza?

This recipe is one of the best ones to choose for a super quick, mess-free meal that doesn’t require you to pull out your whole pantry. I love that all these ingredients need little to no prep, which gives you more time to eat and enjoy with your loved ones.

This Mummy Pizza is Unique & Delicious

This pizza isn’t like your ordinary pizza. It’s better!

With the twist of swapping out your pizza dough with some fresh French baguette, it’s hard not to love and indulge in the divine crunch after it’s been crisping up in the oven. It’s truly game-changing.

With every bite, you acquire many different flavors. I love the sharpness from the leeks and the silky, cheesy goodness from the mozzarella.

One of the highlights for me in this dish is the pizza sauce, as it gets used as the base of your entire toppings. I particularly like to make sure I add a decent amount of the sauce to my pizza bases.

No one likes a pizza that’s dry as a bone.

Cut the baguette in the middle and in half down the middle to make four pizzas.

Step 6

Now, add the leek sprigs in a criss-cross pattern over the bread to create a “mummy” look—brush or spray when finished with olive oil.

Step 7

Make your mummy’s eyes with the sliced olives and capers – note: these will stick to your pizza better when you have a thick layer of sauce.

Step 8

Place in the oven and bake for 10 minutes or until the edges of your baguette halves are a light brown color and crispy. Serve!
