Activate & Prioritize Your Creativity with this Mantra

Activate & Prioritize Your Creativity with this Mantra

When it comes to being successful and enjoying life, one of the most important things on your wellness journey is how to turn on your creativity.

Everyone can access their creativity at any point in their life. Once you open up to your creativity, you’ll find new perspectives and set new goals that will align you closer to the joy and fulfillment we’re all searching for. The next step, of course, is to prioritize those new goals. Instead of spending years mulling over an idea but never making it happen, why not focus your energy with the scientifically proven power of mantras? This form of self-hypnosis has been studied by scientists who can explain the neuroscience of its power. A mantra literally means ‘mind tool.’

To see more joy in your daily life, the antidote to a mundane life is to trigger your creative spark. When you welcome creativity into your life on a daily basis, your thoughts will start to naturally gravitate towards creative energy instead of logic based reason. There’s strong evidence that suggests we have greater control over our lives than most people think.

So let’s try it, shall we? Let’s dive into our imaginations and create exciting, meaningful lives for ourselves through consistent creative experimentation.

How Do Mantras Work?

Imagine the energy, power, and light of all the stars in our galaxy, and then multiply that by 1000. What you get is the trillion neural connections in your own brain.

The mind is a super high-functioning organic system - it is always evolving, growing, expanding, and changing. One way you can consciously expand your mind is through the use of mantras. Mantras work sort of like self-hypnosis. Essentially, any word or phrase you use and repeat with the intention to believe the words you’re saying allows your brain’s active and distracting chatter to quiet and slow down, leaving you in a trance-like state where only your mantra exists.

Scientists have measured the brain’s activity with and without mantras, and they found that repetition brings calmness to the mind. That very calmness is your entry point into the creative realm of your intuition.

Many people recite a mantra during meditation not simply for the benefit of feeling calm, but also to create a new thought pattern. Once you’re centered in meditation, add a mantra or intention to create new synapses and neural pathways that shift your habitual thoughts. Once you’ve consistently thought, said, or written your mantra for about a month, you’ll find that your mind is able to accept it as truth.

Mantras are sometimes referred to as affirmations or self-hypnosis. Whatever you call them, mantras are a cognitive tool that allows you to perceive new opportunities and can even change the way you carry yourself and communicate.

A Powerful Mantra to Activate Your Creativity

We’ve talked about mantras. We’ve given you the scientific reasons to use them. Now it’s time to introduce you to a powerful mantra that will change your life and activate your creativity, even if it’s been dormant for some time.

This energetic upgrade will be most effective if you use it for at least a couple of minutes each day. You can write it, think it, or say it out loud. When you experience negative or unhelpful thought patterns, gently redirect your mind to this mantra:

“All of my energy, all of my being, is pouring into my creative passion and I am using my time to make my soul’s vision happen.”

Or, for something a little snappier, try,

“My top priority is my creativity.”

Perhaps start with three minutes of repeating the mantra and work your way up by one minute each week. At the very least, repeat or write down your mantra at least three times every morning and every night right before you sleep to keep your thoughts consistently directed. It can’t hurt to write your affirmation on sticky notes to put in places you’ll see often as well.

If you want to create your own mantra, you can. You can make one up completely on your own or tailor the ones in this article to help direct your energy to a specific goal you have. If you’re new to using mantras, remembering to do it every day can be a challenge. Find ways to remind yourself of your mantra, like setting a phone notification or including it in your to-do list on your calendar or in your planner. When you see the power behind mantras and using your intention, you’ll see why mantras have been used for thousands of years.

Closing

We are all very similar in that we have an abundance of energy - we need only learn to use the tools available to us to harness, direct, and focus it towards our goals so we can achieve more than ever before. One of those tools is mantras.

Perhaps this will help you find your inner painter, a fun new hobby, or spark an interest in something you’ve never even considered before. Life is meant to be exciting and full of wonder and magic. Using mantras can help you unlock the joy that is your birthright. Some people awaken every day with excitement because they keep their creativity flowing and are constantly working on manifesting and growing. With a little time and practice, you can join those people, too.
