Daniel Vitalis’ Rewild Yourself Podcast

This podcast has been influential in my journey since I ran into Daniel Vitalis who was a speaker at the Bulletproof convention. I noticed when I met him that his energy was uncanny and much higher than most. The things he spoke of were revolutionary and I was immediately drawn to his work which discusses how quickly Americans have been dumbed down and pacified in the age of technology. He promotes getting back to nature and connecting to water, fire, earth and air through an un-learning of the norms of modern society. He is also a biohacker and interviews incredible authors and thought leaders of our time. He isn’t afraid to tackle any subject and his podcast if food for those who want to be free and wild.

Aubrey Marcus’ Podcast

When I met Aubrey, he was curious about how to improve his athleticism and open to hearing my own insights about the writing process as he was writing his book. He was humble and didn’t act like a know-it-all, even though he knows a lot! I was impressed by his friendliness and down-to-earth mentality; his level of openness shows a new type of leadership style developing in our country. His podcast asks how we find our purpose and wake up to who we are. He interviews many philosophers of our time and uses his sense of humour to keep it from being dry and boring. He has a line of high-end supplements for cognitive enhancement and has often talked about spirituality, functional movement, and sexuality.

Concluding Thoughts…

Oral tradition has been a part of human history for centuries. Now we can share stories from virtually anywhere, allowing us to evolve as a species together so that we can all awaken to the perspectives that heal us and allow us to make decisions that will guide our culture to a more peaceful and healthy place. The more we open our minds to good information from leaders and people who care, the more we become those leaders ourselves.

If our thoughts truly do affect reality, as some quantum physics experts believe, perhaps storytelling does have a powerful affect on group consciousness. Perhaps storytellers like Jesus, Buddha, Gandhi, and Mother Teresa are no different than these podcasters who reach their audience not on foot, but over airwaves. Perhaps the shift of global consciousness happens when just one person at a time hits play on their way to work.
